There are several ways that you can help the Friends of Fort Davis with the Hospital Restoration Project:

If you have carpentry skills and would like to work as a volunteer during this summer’s University of Vermont field school at the hospital from June 25 through July 22, or at any other time, call the National Park Service office at the Fort at 432-426-3224, ext. 20.

If you have any photographs showing the interiors of any U.S. Army post hospitals anywhere between 1875 and 1900 and would be willing to share them, please call National Park Service Historian Mary Williams at 432-426-3224, ext. 25 or write to her at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Box 1379, Fort Davis, Texas 79734.
